The holiday apartments of our Agriturismo have been built and renovated to meet all guests' needs and to make their holiday in the Upper Tiber Valley more comfortable and pleasant. The space Our holiday apartments are surrounded by greenery and nestled on a panoramic hill overlooking the entire Umbria Valley and Tuscany. Our accommodation, created on the basis of an ancient farmhouse that we have finely renovated in accordance with local Umbrian traditions, consists of four independent apartments and a private swimming pool available to guests The farm "Podere Casenove" is located in the green hills of Upper Umbria, near some of the most popular tourist destinations in Umbria, Tuscany, Marche and Romagna and is located on a hill from which you can enjoy a wonderful view over the entire Alta Valle del Tivere 330 meters above sea level, in the municipality of ancient Etruscan origin of Citerna, whose territory was densely populated even in Roman times. The beauty and charm of these places made Pliny the Younger affirm "You would feel a great pleasure to visit this region from the top of the hills: in fact, you would seem to see not a territory, but a painting painted with incredible skill". Guest access The Podere Casenove Farm has been owned by the Canosci Family for hundreds of years; until 1984 it was a company run under the "Mezzadria Contract" so the land was cultivated by the family of the so-called "Mezzadro" who lived in the Casale. Until then, the farm consisted of: • Agricultural land of 5.20 hectares (of which 5 hectares of arable land and 0.20 hectares used as vineyards); •Farmhouse used to house the sharecropper; •Roof in front of the farmhouse with wood-burning oven; • Open shed used to store agricultural tools; •Building used as a barn; •Building used as a dryer for white tobacco produced on our land; •Large land belonging to the Properties indicated above called "The Hague". Following the split of the sharecropping contract after 1984 with direct cultivation by the owners and following substantial restoration, the farmhouse became the summer holiday home of the owner's family. From 2000 onwards, further restoration work began respecting local housing types such as wooden beams, terracotta, exposed wall parts, etc. aimed at gradually starting a new farm activity. The hospitality activity started in 2002 and is followed with loving care directly by Mrs. Luigina wife of the owner.
