The small coastal town is surrounded by the sea and nature. It is also in the immediate vicinity of the healing mud, which is good for treating rheumatism and skin problems. The apartment has a balcony with a beautiful view of the breathtaking sea. Four to five people can be accommodated in this apartment (50 m2, ***) - one bedroom with a double and single bed, one bedroom with a double bed. The center and the nearest beach only 100 meters away. In the yard there are possibilities to park comfortably. You will be able to enjoy peace and privacy here. The apartment has everything you and your family or friends need for a wonderful holiday! Pets are welcome too (charges may apply)! The tourist agency and the owner are available to make your holiday as enjoyable and carefree as possible. In the past few years, the healing effects of mud from the Melina beach have been officially proven on the basis of concrete cases (it mitigates or fully eliminates various types of bone aches and skin diseases), turning the Soline Bay into an increasingly attractive summer destination. Besides the already mentioned village of Meline, the bay area also encompasses Soline, Čižići and Klimno. The names of the villages situated in the bay area were partly determined on the basis of their natural significance: in the ancient times, the village of Meline was the center for exporting sand and it later became known for its brick factory; the widely known saltpans of the princes of the Frankopan family from Krk were located in Soline; Klimno, a shipbuilding center, was named after the Chapel of St. Clement (Crkvica svetog Klementa); while the origin of Čižići remains unknown. Due to its geographic position (a closed bay with a shallow sea) and the climatic features (always pleasant sea temperature), the bathing season in the Soline Bay starts early in the spring and lasts until late fall which is, in addition to the healing mud, yet another selling point in the tourist offer of this region. A village of Rudine, located only a few kilometers from Čižići, is a village preserving the century-old (or even older) architecture almost fully intact. Besides by the discovered treasure, i.e. the authentic folk architecture and the nearby sandy beach, Rudine also attracts with its hidden treasure which rests, as the legend says, in the Biserujka Cave, one of the most visited caves in Croatia. The public transportation isn't very frequent, so it's best if you come by car.
