Lovely rooms ensuite/private bath in Durham - B&B

Our home is in Durham, 1.5 miles from Durham city centre - its World Heritage Site and culture - 6 mins from the train station, 35 minutes walk from town, or one min to bus stop. Buses every 15 mins, 15 min bus to town. Our house is hidden away in a very large garden. There are three lovely rooms with comfy beds and private or en-suite bathrooms, wonderful breakfasts - pure relaxation. We look forward to meeting you. The space Our house is a very old farm cottage once part of a now fallen down stately home. We are in the middle of an area of much more modern housing with good bus links, however the house is totally private in a very large garden surrounded by mature trees. We live here and will welcome you on arrival. We have two doubles and one single/ twin bedroom - one double is ensuite and the other rooms have a private bathroom. Please note doubles/twin are from £90 (or from £75 if booked as a single). A single is from £55. We have an additional room we rarely use but can accommodate an additional one/ two please if they share a bathroom with the upstairs double - just let us know your needs. We do have three lovely cats: Rascal, Tinkerbel and Thor. Guest access We have parking for four cars in total on our large driveway. You are welcome to share our large lounge, dining room, garden....please feel at home with us. During your stay We enjoy meeting our guests and we are happy to help with advice on what to see in Durham, Newcastle, the lovely North East Coast or anywhere in the north of England/Scotland. We have worked in tourism and travel for a long time a love to help people get the most from our area. We are very familiar with Durham University and often help guests with open day visits, and dropping off and collecting their young people. Other things to note A lovely full English breakfast ( or vegetarian/vegan alternative) is included.
