Bridge Cottage, Magical 2 bedroom apartment

If your looking for something a little different then the stable wing of The Bridge House may be just for you! My unusual holiday home is part of the unique Bridge House built over the River Ardle in k1881. It has recently been renovated to a warm and cosy standard! Charming original features including stone spiral stairs, traditional Scottish timber clad walls, brick and pine flooring. All mod cons including wifi & smart TV. Quiet, peaceful and rural location. Pretty views. The space The adventure begins as you enter the front door with a winding stone spiral staircase on your left and kitchen on the right. My large kitchen salon has original brick flooring with timber and stone walls. The kitchen is fully fitted and has everything you need. There is a cosy wood fired oven that is not only pretty but practical too. I love breakfast here looking at the river and bridge, especially in the morning sun. There is also a large comfortable sofa and smart TV. The spiral staircase leads up to the bedrooms and bathroom. The master bedroom is large and bright with views of the river on one side and beautiful Strathardle on the other. King size double bed and smart TV. There is a small second bedroom with a cosy double bed (tight for two). There is freeview TV, ornamental fireplace and traditional gas lamp lighting! I hope you'll sleep as well as I do with the peaceful sound of the river and comfortable beds... The bathroom has a choice of shower or bath. If you're lucky with the weather you can enjoy the garden and river. Pets welcome in the house but strictly not in bedrooms or sofa in any circumstances and in case dog hair found in bedroom or sofa a deep clean will be requested at a and cost that will deducted from deposit. Guest access Sauna on top of the bridge by arrangement and depending in availability. Other things to note This is the stable part of the Bridge House. I occasionally stay in a studio apartment located with a private entrance at the parking area. (Normally on changeover days.) There is another 2 bedroom holiday cottage on top of the bridge. It is completely detached with its own entrance on the other side of the river. There is a charge for accepting pets (not all pets accepted) when accepted £25 per pet per booking
