The space The Alcove is composed of a queen size bed, a sitting area (140 x 190 sofa bed), a bathroom with walk-in shower, separate toilet. In your chalet, a corner equipped with a 2-burner induction cooktop will allow you to cook good dishes and a wood stove for cooler evenings by the fireplace. Guests can enjoy nature with an outdoor/indoor living space and a private Nordic bath (heated by a wood fire, as in the Scandinavian tradition). The terrace offers stunning views of nature and the mountains. The Alcove is 5 minutes from the center and shops (bakeries, butchers, restaurants, sports shops...). In winter, 10 minutes from the slopes of La Bresse Lispach (Nordic and Alpine area) and 15 minutes from the slopes of La Bresse Hohneck and Gérardmer, sledding possible at the chalet. In summer, swimming is possible in the nearby lakes (Lac des Corbeaux, Lake Gérardmer and Lake Xonrupt-Longemer). Summer sledging and entertainment in the town (local market, swimming pool, bowling, paragliding, tree climbing park...). At the foot of hiking trails, ideal starting point for mountain biking. You will find extra dishes, a dishwasher, an oven, a raclette and fondue set. Other things to note - In winter, snow equipment (snow tires or chains) is imperative, we are part of the Mountain Law. - We cannot accept pets. - cleaning must be done upon checkout (dishes clean and tidy, table wiped, cottage tidy and clean).
