Intermaples is a historic home set on 50 acres of forests and fields. Walk across the back yard into the woods, across the stream and back field to the trails beyond, all without leaving the property. The home dates to 1930, the barn to the 1860s. For decades, Intermaples was home to a family maple syrup operation, and the trees are still tapped in spring by a neighbor. The property is still owned by the family that has owned it since 1972 and was recently renovated with guests in mind. The space The Bow house has been recently renovated and updated, while still retaining all the character of an old historic home. The home was originally loved and cared for by a family of 9 (7 children!) for 40 years, and then it was a longterm rental for years after that. In 2019, we decided to restore it back to its former glory and offer it on AirBnB for others to enjoy. We hope to continue to improve and add to it in the future to make it a perfect retreat for a relaxing weekend or as a base for more outdoor adventures. Guest access The house is situated on 50 acres, most of which is conservation land. The entire home and grounds are available for your enjoyment. The back fields are excellent for sledding, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. High five if you find the Boucher Forest sign! We are not allowed to have snow mobiles or ATVs on our property (a town permit restriction for our rental), but there is a well-groomed New Hampshire Snowmobile Trail 371, which cuts through the property and connects with NH Trail 11 - a main north-south corridor - less than a quarter mile from the house.
