Beautifully furnished Cornish cottage with sea views from all rooms
A beautifully furnished period Cornish cottage in the hamlet of Trowan, just a stone’s throw from the popular sea side town of St Ives. Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and surrounded by ancient farm land, tin mines and spectacular cliff top views of the sea, Trowan is an oasis of calm. Enjoy the best of both worlds with the lively town and beaches of St Ives just a mile away or opt for lazy days in the extensive sea facing garden and patio. Ideally situated for walkers with easy access to the coast path and a variety of other public footpaths from the front door that take you into St Ives or across to the delightful village of Zennor and the perennially popular Tinners Arms. The cottage sleeps up to four people in two double bedrooms, both with views across the meadows to the sea. The second bedroom can be noisy in windy conditions. We have no control over this. Downstairs is open plan for easy living. Slate floors, a fully equipped kitchen, large dining table and a comfortable lounge area with wood burner for cosy winter nights mean that you can self cater comfortably and in style. The hamlet is situated at the end of a farm lane and has parking for 2 cars.
