The Hameau du Moulin d'Almont is a charming family home, designed to accommodate 16 guests in the greatest comfort. Located in the heart of Gâtinais, 1.5 hours south of Paris, accessible by car via the A6 or 15 minutes from Malesherbes train station. The house is an old farmhouse built around 4 terraces and a large park below with swimming pool and tennis. Self check-in, caretaker available if needed. (possibility of extra beds with supplements) The space In the main building you will find: - on the ground floor: an equipped kitchen, a living room with fireplace and dining table, a games room with billiards, a bathroom with bathtub and separate water closets, a bedroom with double bed 140. - on the first floor attic: a large bedroom of 25 m2 (with double bed of 140 cm, and 2 single beds) - on another attic floor: a 60 m2 master suite (160 double bed and sofa bed) with its own bathroom (bathtub and shower). In the first annex you will find: - on the ground floor: an independent bedroom on the outside with double bed (140) and its own small shower room + sink + toilet and a second independent bedroom on the outside with 2 twin beds and its own separate shower room and toilet. - on the attic floor: a bedroom with a double bed (160), a small shower room + sink and toilet (Sanibroyeur) and a second bedroom with 2 single beds, independent on an external staircase. In the second annex (the Barn) you will find: - a large game room equipped with a ping pong table, a dartboard, board games, a fireplace and a mezzanine with high-end hi-fi equipment. - tables, trestles and chairs to seat 20 people. Outside: - 4 terraced and landscaped terraces in old tiles allow circulation between the different houses. - below a 3000 m2 garden with swimming pool (wooden deck and retractable shelters), quick tennis court and bowling green nestled under a pine tree, ideal for end-of-day petanque aperitifs! Please note, a small stream marks the surroundings of the property: children must be supervised. The city of Pithiviers is a 5-minute drive and 20-minute walk away, and will welcome you: - a large Leclerc supermarket (2.5 km) open every day with butcher's department, 24-hour fuel, laundromat, - several bakeries, - grocery store, - wine shop, - florist, - several bars and restaurants, - pharmacy, And above all... a superb market on Saturday morning, open until 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Nearby: - the Loire Castles (Chamerolles, Perfume Museum 20 minutes away, Chambord, Cheverny, Blois, La Ferté-Saint-Aubins 1 hour away) - Fontainebleau (forest hiking, cycling and equestrian trails 45 minutes away) - Château-Neuf-sur-Loire 45 min - the cities of Orleans and Gien within 1 hour Guest access Guests have access to the entire house. Other things to note 1. The pool does not have barriers but a retractable shelter system. Parental vigilance is still required. 2. No rental for wedding-type events with more than 20 participants. 3. Late check-out option with "day package" at extra cost. 4. For your safety, the house is under video surveillance contract with CCTV equipment (an outdoor camera - courtyard level). In accordance with the regulations, the images collected will not be viewed or archived, except in the following exceptional cases: accident on the property, acts of vandalism, burglary, intervention of the police or reporting by the guard of a situation that does not comply with the regulations. 5. Linens and towels are provided (at extra cost) but beds remain to be made when guests arrive.
