Come enjoy our beautiful detached cottage, in a Concordia alley 5 blocks from Alberta Street. French doors lead onto your own private patio. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need. The cottage is designed to be self sufficient, and full of natural light. Take a stroll through the alleyways and wander through Alberta park to restaurants and coffee shops. It is a very bike friendly neighborhood. We are also connected by bus lines to downtown. The space The cottage is an open plan studio with tall ceilings and lots of light. It is the ideal size for one or two but can sleep 3 if needed, it works well for a small family. It has one queen bed and a queen pullout sofa. The full kitchen makes it perfect for families and guests who want the ability to cook, whether it's just a morning coffee and toast or a full meal. The kitchen bar makes a great place to work, USB ports are placed next to the bar as well as the bed. French doors open onto the private patio which is spacious and relaxing. A very efficient mini split provides air conditioning and heat, this keeps the cottage super comfortable and runs quietly. The bathroom also has its own heater and a spacious walk-in shower. We have a small TV with a ROKU so you can log in to your Netflix, Prime etc. accounts. There is also access to local TV channels. Guest access Guests park on 24th avenue, you go up the front steps to our house and around to the right and walk along the side of our house to access the cottage. Punch in your code on the door handle. When you leave it will lock automatically. There is a light with a movement sensor to light your way on the side of the house. Please let us know if you’d like it turned off at night. The private patio on the other side of the cottage connects to the alley. The key for the patio doors will be provided, once you get your key you can come and go either through the alley or the front door, whichever you prefer. The patio also has a movement sensor light, the switch is to the right of the curtains. If you are bringing your own bikes let us know and we will suggest the best place for locking them, we have had lots of guests who brought their bikes for getting around town. The cottage itself does not have any steps or stairs, however there are steps from the street level up to the path that leads to the cottage. Anyone with mobility difficulties should contact us before booking and we can explain another option of entering from the alley. Other things to note There is always plenty of street parking.
