Quinta de S. Cipriano is located in the village of S. Cipriano, municipality of Resende, 88 km from Porto, at the foot of Serra do Montemuro – Vale do Rio Cabrum. This is a unique place to enjoy the romantic landscapes of the Douro and the Serra! The space In any season of the year, our house is ideal for relaxing and enjoying nature in comfort, with family, friends or even alone, whether within the gates of our Quinta or along the mountains that extend beyond these gates! Show up in May and taste our cherries, come in September and participate in the grape harvests, indulge in our sparkling wine, or simply relax on the sun loungers and cool off in the pool. Take advantage of the visit to visit the Caldas de Aregos Thermal Spa (7 km - (hot and sulfurous water spa on the banks of the Douro); to dive into the river beaches of Lagariça (1 km); to relive pieces of our history and literature at the Eça De Queirós Foundation, and reliving the climate of works such as The Illustrious House of Ramires and The City and the Mountains, by Eça de Queirós and even the rural environment of The Sibyl, by Agustina Bessa-Luis; to venture into villages as rich as Gralheira and Campo Benfeito, where theater joins wool and burel looms; to hike along medieval trails or explore the banks of the Cabrum River. And visit monasteries and churches on the Romanesque route. More tips and suggestions will be given upon arrival, which we hope will be very soon. Other things to note The Quinta has five houses, for a maximum of 16 guests. Each house is independent, but the outdoor space (over 20ha) is shared.
