We offer 2 rooms with balcony/view of the mountains (Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, Niesen, Stockhorn, Gantrisch) in our own house. Single booking possible (listings "double room" or "family room"). The rooms are on the 2nd floor and share one bathroom. The garden with a small swimming pond invites you to linger. Grill/seating available. The rich breakfast (buffet) can be enjoyed in the garden or conservatory. Check out our food offers. The space Room "Fabienne" has a double bed (160x200), balcony, TV, minibar and kettle. Room "Larissa" offers a double bed (160 x 200) and an extra bed (140 x 200) for one adult or two children on the small gallery with very steep stairs, balcony, TV, minibar and kettle (also ideal for families with children). The two rooms share a shared bathroom. If you want to get to know life in Switzerland away from the tourists in a quiet place with beautiful views of the mountains, but still want to visit many well-known sights during a day trip, you have come to the right place. We recommend arriving by car. On request, we offer a Swiss cheese fondue with side dishes, spaghetti Bolognese or noodles with mushroom cream sauce with non-alcoholic drinks for 2 or more people. A salad is included in all food. Other things to note Riggisberg is located on the edge of the Gantrisch Nature Park with many leisure activities such as via ferrata, climbing park, hiking routes, biking routes, etc. We recommend our guests to arrive by car. Public transport is also possible, but not very convenient (train, postbus and walk of about 20 minutes). The location is ideal for day trips by car to the capital Bern or Thun (approx. 30 minutes by car each), Interlaken (approx. 45 minutes by car) and generally to the Bernese Oberland, Fribourg (approx. 40 minutes by car) or the Lake Geneva region (approx. 1 hour 20 minutes drive to Montreux). In Riggisberg you will find a supermarket, take-away restaurant, a traditional Swiss restaurant, an Italian restaurant, bakeries, a tea room.
