The Nook

Brand new warm and cosy studio unit. Best views in town, looks down on the train station and Bealey river and looks up to Mt Rolleston, even from the bath. There is a small kitchenette which has a fridge, kettle, toaster, electric fry pan and large microwave, There is a BBQ for when weather is warmer. Second on the right up Brake Hill. The space Perfect for couples to relax and unwind in the mountains. Underfloor heating, Small kitchenette not a full kitchen, does not have a cooktop or oven, but electric frypan and BBQ. Full bathroom with bath that opens up to outdoor view. Attached to original bach, but separate entrance and self-contained. Other things to note There is only one restaurant in town, The Alpine Parrot they stop serving at 7.30pm The Bealey Hotel offers a larger range of meals and is open till 8.30pm. Bookings are advised, It is a 10 minute drive from The Nook, they can be very busy and it is best to book early. If you don’t have a NZ phone I can book for you. During the day there is another café which also sells a small amount of groceries, it is recommended that you bring what you need with you. Please do not bring food that leaves a strong smell when cooking, unless it is for the BBQ. I try to be Zero waste. There is a compost bin for food, a small bin inside for waste and a large yellow bin at main door for recycling. If you have more waste you need to dispose of there is a recycling depot with a waste skip at the bottom of Brake Hill.
