Renovated barn & large garden near Snowdon/Wyddfa

Only 15 minutes from Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa, in an area filled with historical places. The nearby slate villages have been granted UNESCO world heritage status. HBO TV series House of Dragon 2 was filmed in the area, and some of the featured landscapes can be seen from our garden. Originally a barn, it was renovated as a family home in the mid 1990’s, and enjoy’s spacious rooms with stunning view over Anglesea and the Irish sea. The space We look forward to welcoming you. Whilst we supply bedding we do not supply towels. Our secluded barn has a large garden over one acre surrounded by trees. There are two patio areas, one shaded with stunning views towards Anglesea. Caernarfon castle can be seen from the front facing windows, and the popular town is only 1.5 miles away. The beach of Dinas Dinlle is approx 6 miles, whilst Snowdon and it’s sister peaks are a 20 minute drive away. But its location ensures privacy and quiet. The large garden also contains a few standing stones dating back thousands of years, and the sunset views are stunning. There is a Mini supermarket in the petrol station approx half a mile away, with another shop, Indian take-away a, chip shop and local pub which serves great food, all located in the nearby village of Bontnewydd. Caernarfon itself has many bars, restaurants and taverns. Please ensure all lights are switched off when you leave, especially the external light and also central heating if used. The central heating (oil) is on a timer in winter. If you need to use extra please take care with hours used. Because of the high price of oil we ask for a £80 security deposit which will be refunded if the central heating has not been over used. Please remove shoes in the house and please use the recycling bins - the local authority charges household who do not comply. Please allow me to stress that we cannot accept any pets. A serious allergy to all animal hairs mean that we cannot make any exceptions. We apologise for that but hope you can appreciate the situation. Local history Caernarfon was the location for one episode of the Netflix series the Crown, whilst Bill and Hilary Clinton visited as graduate students before they married. Guest access All locations on the property except for one bedroom. The extra wide 2 doors to the first floor can accomoate wheelchairs. The ground floor comprises a living room, kitchen and dining room, a double bedroom with en suite toilet and shower - although there is a step to the shower.
