‘The Nook’ & Hot Tub - Hebden Bridge

A cute little attached cottage in the heart of hebden bridge. The space consists of the original servants entrance and kitchen, cold store and garden for the main house, Thorn bank house. The space which we’ve named ‘The Nook’ has a newly renovated living space, which is warm, contemporary and light with everything you need for a cosy stay. You have exclusive access to the garden, which means relaxing in the hot tub after a long day sight seeing, shopping or hitting the pubs. The space Enter ‘The Nook’ through it’s little front door, taking the same steps as mill workers from over 200 years ago. The original stonework walls are the perfect back drop for the cottage kitchen that has everything you need to cook the perfect meal. As the cottage is all on one level you can seamlessly socialise, cook a meal or relax in the garden together. With a newly renovated living area, bathroom and bedroom the house has a slice of the old and new. The house has a contemporary feel with as many original features as possible. In the bedroom we’ve kept the original arched ceiling of the cold store giving a beautiful cosy feel to the room. Please note the bedroom has 1 bed and the sofa bed is in the living room. The space is compact but perfectly formed. Outside in the courtyard garden we’ve installed a fantastic 6 person hot tub with a hard roof covered pergola and trellis. The 9ft fully fenced in and locked garden ensures security and safety for those visiting with pets or bikes, whilst providing additional privacy from neighbours and the street. The house and garden are located next to the main road which means fantastic public transport links via bus or train, along with a 2 min walk into Hebden Bridge. However this does mean road noise can be heard in the garden. We have 2 other properties that attach with The Nook, but we’ve taken as many steps as possible to give you a private stay. These steps include installing privacy glass on the windows, covering the hot tub with a hard roofed pergola and trellis and fully fencing in the garden with a 9ft fence to give privacy from the road and pavement. Please note this property is not suitable for those with a mobility limitation since the access to the property has steps and the bed access in the bedroom is tight.
