This 4.5 bdrm, 3 bath fully stocked home has all the convenience of modern construction (including wifi) but maintains the vintage charm of the original property. The one acre lot is very private with spectacular forest & water views. Fun can be found in every direction and for all ages! It has two bottom floor bed/bath combos & a fabulous sleeping loft for the kids! The beauty, privacy, and amenities of the River House cannot be beat! It is directly on the water with a rare sandy beach and an extra long private dock. In the summer months, there is an additional swim dock located off the shore. The house has two downstairs bedroom and bathrooms perfect for guests of all ages. The upstairs has two bedrooms, a bathroom, an incredible sleeping sunroom (with blackout shades for our night owl guests!), and a loft/kitchenette perfect for slumber parties and game nights. The fully stocked kitchen has a handmade bar and even includes its own crabbing tools! The updated beds, linens, towels, couch, and chairs give everything a fresh and comfortable vibe while the vintage decor and family heirlooms makes you relish the rich history of the home. The views from the sun porch are mesmerizing! Guests have access to the house, docks, firepit, charcoal barbeque, picnic area, sun porch, and back yard. There is plenty of onsite parking right off the gravel driveway. We have a lovely neighbor, Denise, who is an experienced property manager and host. She is available if needed. The Riverhouse is located towards the end of a dead-end road. Our neighbors include an organic farm with friendly animals and lots of local wildlife such as deer, foxes, and bald eagles. The road is quiet with lots of forest and fields to feast your eyes on; it makes for an excellent flat running path. There are plenty of parking spaces just off the gravel driveway. The River House is happy to host well behaved dogs, however they must stay off the furniture and if any damage is incurred the guest will be billed after checkout for an extra cleaning fee and/or loss-of-property.
