This charming two-story century home is located near downtown Bathurst, within a short walk to waterfront trails, parks, library, shopping, churches, restaurants, pubs, government offices and is a great choice for someone wanting to spend time in Bathurst. This executive house is rented at practically the same cost as a standard hotel room, but with the space and amenities of a home. The whole place is yours! No sharing with anyone else other than you and your group. The space This historic home has been completely renovated in 2018 to meet today's needs while retaining the home's character. For example, the original doors and molding are still in place, other moldings and trim have been recreated, and guests may use the central staircase, located side-by-side with the maid's staircase. When you rent this home, you will have access to 1,500 square feet of living space to relax and enjoy your stay in Bathurst. The first floor of this two-story home has a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and dining room with original hard wood floors. The second floor is your space to relax. Two (2) large bedrooms complete with bedroom set and a queen bed for your sleeping comfort. The living room has fibre-optic TV and an electric fireplace if the nights get cold. If you are renting during the summer months, you may want to spend time on the rooftop deck with BBQ, overlooking large trees and the street below. The large bathroom and laundry room are located on this floor as well. Like the first floor, the second floor has original hard wood flooring throughout most areas. The attic is restricted to all guests. Other things to note The house is divided into two (2) rental units. Each unit is completely private with a separate entrance and driveway located on different streets. The Executive Getaway is the large unit with primarily living space on the 2nd floor and Kitchen and Dining on the first floor. The Executive Studio is the smaller unit with everything located on one floor. Window air conditioning units are installed in each bedroom during summer months.
