The space Calm, inviting and immaculately renovated, this home with its expansive views and quiet position away from the road, make Alexandra's, the place to stay. Everything is included to make your stay extremely comfortable. With 2 large flat screen smart tv's Netflix and Stan, dvd player and movies, board games and Free Wifi/Internet via Starlink to be enjoyed with a soothing fireplace. The apartment is on ground floor of a two story home, with a mere 200 metre walk to the ocean and with views of the Great Southern Ocean from the main living area and a outside area with access to garden. In a quiet street only 3 minutes walk to the centre of town, cafes and the local King Island lifestyle. Alexandra's is comfortable all year round. King Island can experience the extreme weather and so Alexandra's is equipped with double glazed windows and doors and efficient Dyson heating throughout to keep cosy plus fireplace. There is A/C's for summer days and in each bedroom a double swing fan for the warmer months. Renovated with a complete fully equipped, new kitchen with a pantry well stocked with essentials and plenty of books to inspire you with King Island produce. The latest coffee machine (Nespresso Latissima) is ready for you with a generous supply of pods. Be welcomed with a King Island cheese board, continental breakfast supplies, complimentary port and of course a bottle of Sparkling Wine to start your holiday in style. Our kitchen is fully stocked with all the implements, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils needed. Those favourite recipe books and good knives are for the more serious cooks out there. The pantry has essentials like S & P, some herbs, spices, spreads, oil and sauces as well as a welcome surprise or two. A range of loose leaf organic teas and coffee is also supplied. Of course we have a dishwasher - who wants to do dishes when they are away? The dining area offers bench seating made with Warwicks luxurious fabrics, that will have you curled up reading a book overlooking the ocean with a life like fireplace and not wanting to leave. Theres even a crash mat bean bag to snuggle into. Should you have to tend to business, there is a complete study nook equipped with wireless phone and ipad charging devices. Office supplies are available as also use of a wireless printer. Immediate outside area comprises of stools and a private bench area that looks over to the local golf course and foreshore, along with your cast iron Ziegler and Brown bbq. This two bedroom apartment has lots of character with plantation shutters and with one of the bedrooms looking into the garden. 1 bedroom has a king bed which can be split into two long singles and the other bedroom has a queen bed. The base rate for 2 guests is based on using one bedroom. Should you wish to use the second bedroom there is an extra cost of $60 for entire stay. We must be advised prior to arrival so room can be made up. There are two lounge rooms, one is the entrance with daybed, television, heat pump/air-conditioning & the main living room with Tv, and Netflix, Stan available, so you can have endless movie viewing! A luxurious moody bathroom with iconic Aesop bathroom products also awaits, for those wanting to relax and soothe the muscles from a busy day sight seeing or a day of golfing. These products are something you find in only the best of places. Guests will have access to unlimited wifi during their stay. Bath robes available in wardrobes for your use as well as optional pillow menu. We will ensure your stay is comfortable with professionally laundered towels and linen, luxurious bathroom amenities of Aesop on hand and a guide book to King Island. Guests to date have loved their stay here and appreciated the high standard, facilities and convenient location, so we have no doubt you will also. We work with a wonderful local caterer who has a fabulous small menu of King Island meals (Lunch packs & Dinners) After seeing Alexandra’s when guests arrive, many guests want to stay in! Everything is made from scratch and much of the produce is from her farm. All you have to do is heat it up (except steak) & lunches are packed beautifully, ready to go. A weeks notice is required preferably. She will deliver them to us and we will set up a dinner table prior to your arrival or whilst you are out. Please ask for menu from us, if interested. Oleadas is a wonderful restaurant a 3 minutes walk, reservations a month prior are highly recommended as it’s only small and extremely popular. Legs wine & pizza bar is an absolute must, just delicious and all the sourdough is made lovingly by Ian. Guest access You will have private access to the whole ground floor level of the property Other things to note Please note that there is no public transport on the island so car hire is a must. You can purchase pre paid Telstra sim cards or phones from the local post office. Wifi passcode will be given upon checkin but is also available in the guest compendium. Price is based on 1 bedroom being used for 2 guests. Should you require to use the other bedroom the cost is $60 extra for entire stay. Please ensure we are advised as the room is not set up.
