'Carnation' by Norwegian Wood Cafe in Jibhi

Nestled in the Himalayan foothills surrounded by pine trees and sharing spectacular panoramic mountain view, Norwegian Wood sits perfectly sung in the middle of a big piece of land surrounded by an Apple orchid and a beautiful landscape that changes with every passing season. We are an easy taxi/bus ride from the Aut bus stand (28kms) and Kullu Airport (52kms). We are accessible through a 10-minute drive from the Jibhi Market, so there's little to no traffic to waste your time away. The space As soon as you take the rustic cemented stares to the cabin, the Crimson doorway and window pane catches your eye. Named after a Mediterranean, sweet smelling red flower, the interiors of the space are sure to steal your heart away. Built on the concept of the tiny-house movement, which is an upcoming architectural concept which advocates for essentially downsizing and simplifying grand living spaces, the cabin offers you an upbeat yet cozy ground floor with seating arrangements on the floor as well as by the window, attached washroom, a rustic under-the-staircase bookshelf and an internally connected staircase to the loft. The sleeping arrangements are in the loft/attic, where a welcoming king sized bed awaits you with windows that open to the sky for natural lighting and unobstructed mountain view. The attic height from the centre is 5.5 ft and ends at 1 ft. As if it wasn’t enough, the cabin has its own private patio area with amazing mountain views and all the outdoor lushenss that you would have headed to the mountains for! Guest access Please feel free to sit out at the kitchen and cafe, or take a stroll amidst nature around the property and parking lot. You may see caretakers and other guests walking around on the land but your cabin will be completely private. Other things to note hile we love entertaining guests, here are a few things you need to keep in mind if you wish to stay at Norwegian Woods: - You're welcome to check-in after 11:00 a.m. and may check-out upto 9:00 p.m. - You will have to take some paved stairs along with a bit of walk from the parking area to reach to the property area, which might take a total of 5-7 minutes - We request you to not have Food, Drinks and Smokes inside the rooms/cabins, as that helps us maintain the sanctity of the living spaces - Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabins, this helps us avoid any casual fire hazards. Please free to do so in the porches of café area, ensuring it is not bothering the other residing guests - Please keep all kinds of music and sounds in check - we want you to enjoy your time while still being considerate of the vicinity
