A relaxing self-catering holiday apartment offering exquisite uninterrupted ocean views. The apartment is perfectly located in the Pebble Beach Complex, Ocean Drive, Chaka’s Rock on the pristine north coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal. The apartment is situated between two main swimming beaches (salt rock and Thompsons) and walking distance to a number of great restaurants. Come and enjoy the magic of Ballito with us! The space The Apartment: This comfortable five sleeper apartment is well furnished, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is ensuite, while the twin and single room share a second bathroom that offers guests both a bath and a shower. Two air conditioned bedrooms and the lounge area have sliding doors opening onto a stunning sea facing patio where one can watch the waves crashing onto the rocks below. All rooms have ceiling fans to accommodate the hot summer days. A modern open plan kitchen with granite counter tops is fitted with a microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The unit also has a private washing machine and tumble dryer. The lounge, equipped with a flat screen TV and a full DSTV premium package, opens onto a magnificent patio that runs the full length of the apartment. It is furnished with sun loungers, an 8-seater dining table and a portable gas braai. A hair dryer is provided in the main and twin bedroom. Beach towels are provided, but should you wish to bring your own beach towels you are welcome to do so. There is no beach umbrella or beach games at the apartment, please bring down for yourselves should you require any. WIFI: The apartment has a Vodacom LTE connection for WIFI. There is no smart tv in the apartment, so please feel free to bring your own streaming devices along. The apartment has a Vodacom LTE connection for WIFI. Parking: The unit has secure off road parking for two vehicles (one undercover and one open) that is guarded by 24 hour security. The apartment is situated on the third floor and is accessed via a flight and a half of stairs (there is no lift in the complex). Cleaning: The apartment is un-serviced. Our cleaner comes in once a week on a Thursday and this cleaning will be included should a Thursday fall over the days of your stay. Additional cleaning can be arrange at an extra charge of approximately R290 per half day if arranged before arrival with the owner, and subject to our cleaners availability. You are also welcome to make use of private companies like SweepSouth. Guest access You will enjoy the entire apartment to yourself Other things to note More on the area: Beaches and Airport: The apartment is located 23kms / 22 minutes from the King Shaka International airport. The apartment is located between two main swimming beaches - Thompsons beach and Salt Rock beach. Thompsons beach is 900m away (12 min walk), but if you enter via Seaspray cottage (on google maps) and walk down that hill its 600 m / 8 min walk. The apartment is a convenient kiddies beach that is just a few steps away from the apartment (130m / 1 min walk) called Chakas Rock Tidal Pool. You would enter via this strip of beach to get to Salt Rock swimming beach. Willard Beach is further, 2km away and +- 6 min car drive. Eating out: There are some great places that have recently opened up that are within walking distance to the apartment: Salt café -is a few steps from the apartment - they do excellent pizzas, coffee and delicious fresh croissants in the morning. 2 on Main- is a restaurant/ bar that is also conveniently located a short walking distance from the apartment, and up the road from Salt Cafe. The Barrel - a vibey bar and restaurant is also walking distance from the apartment, located underneath 2 on Main. Some other restaurants overlooking the beach are located a short drive away on Compensation Drive - the Galley Beach Bar and Grill, Nikos, Ocean Basket. Shopping and Groceries: There is a couple main centres nearby for you to do shopping / eat out that are all a quick drive away: • Salt Rock shopping centre (1.7km away) (Convenience stores) • New Salt Rock City Shopping centre (3.6km away – Checkers, Woolworths). • Tiffany’s shopping centre (4km away – Spar) • Lifestyle centre / Ballito Junction Mall (5km away - main shopping malls, movie theatre, retail outlets etc)
