A peaceful oasis in the hills of central Portugal

Quinta Rio de Oliveira is a green and peaceful oasis in the foothills of the Serra da Estrela. Studio Rio is a well-appointed apartment, ideal for couples; families/larger groups can also rent an adjacent bedroom if needed. There's a private heated swimming pool for guests, with sun loungers, pool-side bar & large play-park. The apartment has fast wifi, TV, central heating, a bbq, private sun terrace and a laundry room. Dogs are welcome (but regrettably no other animals); parking is free. The space Studio Rio is a large, self-contained & fully equipped studio apartment, with everything you need for a perfect short break or longer holiday. Bright and cool in the summer, warm and cosy in the winter - the perfect place to relax and unwind at any time of the year. Set within 4.5 ha of green meadows and woodland, the Quinta is home to many species of birds and animals - a real paradise for nature-lovers. Find a quiet bench to read in the shade, or lie by the pool listening to the frogs singing and the breeze in the treetops. There is tranquility and stillness here - it's a peaceful, magical environment. Guest access Guests have access to all of the 5 ha of grounds, including a wooded hillside, babbling stream, wild flower meadows and a children's play park. Other things to note We are a vegan household and vegan guests will be made especially welcome. We share our home with 2 rescue dogs and 5 rescue cats, so please let us know if you have any phobias or allergies - we will do our very best to ensure your stay is as safe and pleasant for you as possible.
