Take in the sweeping views of Castle Hill from the wide timber verandah, enjoy a drink and delicious meal at skull and swallow cafe downstairs or perhaps a swim in the tropical pool in the beer garden. Independently owned and operated family pub with live music offered on weekend in the beer garden. The space The rooms are set in a traditional North Queensland family run public house in a local inner city neighbourhood. The rooms have internal access as well as french doors opening up onto the large veranda that is shared with other guests. This room is fan only. Shared bathroom facilities are located close by. Barrister made coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner being served from the Skull and Swallow cafe downstairs, Wednesday to Sunday. Live music on the weekends and a saltwater pool available for use in the beer garden Guest access Guest are welcome to use the pool in beer garden. Although the rooms are private, all other areas are shared. On occasion we do have have private functions on the verandah in which case this area is off limits at that time. We endeavour to give you notice via messages on Airbnb in advance of these bookings. Other things to note Please note this is a full functioning pub so there will be noise. We have live music until 10pm in the beer garden on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the public bar may be open as late as midnight on weekends. The potential for private functions hosted on the verandah may also contribute to noise when this is booked. No third party bookings allowed. Due to a shared bathroom policy we do not accept bookings for anyone under 18 years.
