Cottage in Lake

This cozy & spacious cottage is perfect for a relaxing get-away for groups up to 12. Nestled on all sports Lake George, wake-up to crisp mornings, hot coffee & a beautiful sunrise over the lake in this 4 bedroom + loft, 2 full bath cottage. Enjoy nature, go for a swim, kayaking/canoeing or just hangout for TV & games. Bring your gear & fish off the dock. Four kayaks, a canoe and other lake toys included. Third party pontoon rental available. Cap off the day with a lakeside bonfire. Memorable! The space There is so much light and brightness to the cottage. The windows allow views of the lake from almost every area of the house. The area under the deck provides reliable shade. The lake itself is beautiful, clean and clear with a sandy bottom. Multiple levels both inside and outside create multiple areas to gather. The finished basement provides extra living space. (Please note, in 2025, many lakes in the area including Lake George experienced lowered water levels due to drought conditions. We are hopeful for a recovery in 2026). Guest access The entire cottage is dedicated for our guest’s use and enjoyment with the exception of a private room in the basement. We want you to feel like you have the best of both worlds; the amenities of a great hotel and the family feel of your own home. Other things to note The cottage is listed with 5 bedrooms. The 5th bedroom is an open loft with a 2 twin size beds. The upstairs bedrooms have lower knee walls at the headboards. The upstairs bathroom also has a knee wall. Care should be taken when walking down to the lake level. There are quite a few steps to the walkout basement level and the lake level. The basement living area can be chilly in the winter. Extra heaters are provided for extra heating. Boat rental on the lake is available. Information and links are provided in the Airbnb Guidebook or I can email it to you. The dock is put in the lake in the spring and taken out in the fall. We do not have exact dates, generally it is put in at the end of May and taken out early in October. The lake is chemically treated twice a year. The treatments are usually done in May and August; however, we do not know the exact dates. On treatment days, swimming and prolonged contact with the water should be avoided. Kayaking and canoeing are safe activities. Ours is a typical lake-side community and neighbor's homes are close. Please be mindful to stay on our property and avoid pets from wondering.
