Rustic, cozy one-room apartment down a long lane on the Conewago river. The apartment is attached to the house but has its own entrance without going through the main house. Private bathroom and shower included. PLEASE NOTE: There are several steps in the cabin going down into the kitchen, up into the living room, and down into the bedroom nook. The floor of the bathroom is not completely even. This cabin may not be suitable for senior citizens or those who have problems with mobility. The space Unique and cozy place for those who are traveling or for anyone who would like to spend a few days in peace and quiet. There is a Full size bed and a Queen size sofa bed. Sleeps up to 4 people. The Full size bed is very comfortable and was replaced recently. This place has its own entrance/exit separate from the house, so you can come and go as you please. The bathroom and shower are very much like an old cabin style and are not particularly fancy (see pictures), though they're fully functional and we keep them clean. The floor in the bathroom is on a slight grade. We're only 20 minutes from downtown Gettysburg! Though we're not far from Gettysburg, our location is remote and very rural. Guest access The guest apartment that is attached to our house has its own entrance from outside with an open bedroom, living space, table, and couch. The apartment also has its own shower and bathroom. There is also a small coffee station with a mini fridge beside it. Other things to note We have a loveable border collie named Nile. He likes to greet our guests. He's very gentle but if you're not a dog person please let us know and we can put him inside before you arrive. While the property is river front three river is not accessible from the property. The most accessible way to get to the water is to go down our dirt road to the public boat launch. If you have kayaks our a small canoe feel free to bring it! We have a front yard that is large enough for some yard games. Feel free to bring games like Bacci, corn hole, spike ball, water balloons etc. To enhance the security of our guests and the integrity of our property, security cameras have been installed outside by the side and front entrances of the cabin.
