For fish, Lulu la Moule Grande Rue is a must; for oysters and clams, go visit Thierry Guittonneau (500 exit from Noirmoutier towards Guereniere opposite the Super U) For general food (butcher, deli, cheese and wine), Maison Chevallereau Grande Rue is the address of the island's gourmets; a quality family institution. Fabienne will be at your disposal. For bread, the Fournile bakery on the pedestrian street and Place de la République. Tutti Fruti is the only quality ice cream parlor in Noirmoutier; everything is exquisite and homemade! Taste the Bergamot Ginger ice cream.
