Green Dragon Glamping - a private half acre meadow

Guests get sole use of a secluded half acre meadow in a peaceful rural location. The accommodation comprises of a converted "rock group" tour bus and 5m bell tent. Together they sleep between 2-6 people (2 in the bus and 4 in the tent). Guests have access to their own private eco toilet and gas shower (or use the flushing toilet and electric shower also nearby). Sit around the fire pit or cook in the covered rustic kitchen (twin electric hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, hot water and plug points). The space The private entrance off a rural lane leads you to parking close to the converted bus and bell tent. If the half acre of "The Orchard" meadow isn't big enough for kids or adults to run around and play in, the adjacent one and a quarter acres of wild meadow are also available for you to explore (plus the small woodland, pond, folly and “boathouse”). You have the option of eating outside on the garden table, on the benches around the fire pit or use the table and chairs inside the rustic kitchen. "The Orchard" is surrounded by tall hedges with hedgerow trees and is fenced so it's secure for medium to large sized dogs and children. Other people renting Green Dragon Cottage (on the other side of the farm) may be exploring the site so we gratefully ask that you keep dogs on a lead when outside "The Orchard". In addition there is Games Room available to use, converted from two large stables, with darts, table tennis and pool. Please note that this is a shared resource with the Green Dragon Cottage guests. Feel free to look around the other fields and pick our apples or pears, we always have too many! In late summer and early autumn there are vast numbers of blackberries which can be found in almost all the hedgerows, please help yourself. Guest access Guests are free to wander in The Meadow, The Paddock (front field), around the small woodland, around the pond area and in the folly. Other things to note Access to "The Orchard" is via a grass track and the parking is on grass as well. If wet the ground can be quite soft (usually only in winter), if you don’t feel comfortable driving on grass there is another access route with secure parking just a bit further away from The Orchard but still within Green Dragon Farm curtilage. Both the grass track and parking area are fairly firm all year round but off the track or parking area can be quite soft underfoot following prolonged wet weather. Please do not drive off the track or parking area.
