Esther's Guesthouse is located in an old Swiss wooden chalet in the quiet and car-free mountain village of Gimmelwald. Gimmelwald offers beautiful and natural landscapes and is nestled in the unique Jungfrau region. Esther's Guesthouse is only 150 meters or a two-minute walk from the cable car station. The space The family-run guesthouse offers 7 different rooms (from single rooms to 6-bed rooms) and 2 apartments. Our vacation home has the perfect infrastructure for a relaxing vacation in the mountains. The cozy and well-furnished double room with mountain views has a double bed (1.8 x 2.0 m) and a comfortable sofa bed. It can accommodate a maximum of four guests. The room has a bathroom, which is shared with another single room. Guest access The entire infrastructure of the guest house is at your disposal: a well-equipped communal kitchen, various tables in the communal area, a coffee maker and a selection of teas as well as an information corner. In summer, you will find seating on our sun terrace and in the garden. Why not enjoy a nice barbecue in our garden? You are welcome to use our gas grill. We also sell local ice cream and a selection of cold drinks as well as a kiosk shop with the most necessary goods, so you can still cook a plate of spaghetti if you arrive late. In winter you can use our ski room with shoe warmers to store your skis, boards and sleds and to dry your winter clothes. On request and for a fee (not included in the price), we offer you a nice breakfast with local products. We bake bread, croissants and rolls and prepare packed lunches for you. You will find several restaurants (one in Gimmelwald, others in Mürren), farm shops in the village and various shops up in Mürren. We will also do the laundry for you. During your stay We are a family with two small children and live in the same house. Franziska grew up in this village.
