Summer house on island, protected location, sauna, private bathing jetty

Summer house on an island in a sheltered location with its own jetty and sauna. 5000 sqm lake plot, private fishing waters. A large house and two smaller cottages, one cottage directly adjacent to the sauna, bathing jetty and water. A total of 10 beds. Simple and charming standard. The big house has all the amenities. Fireplace, TV. Kettle grill on the property. Transport to/from the island: Aluminum boat with 15hp engine included in the rental, accommodates 4-5 adults. Boat trip from the mainland 5-10 min. Nearest metro - Hässelby strand. Walk to subway 15 minutes. The space Large garden with flat lawn of about 500 sqm with play and barbecue facilities. At the back, there is a trampoline. Lake property and its own jetty, its own fishing water/fishing opportunities. Other things to note Lambarön – description of the property The property/house is situated on an island in Lake Mälaren about 25 km from the city of Stockholm. There is no bridge so You need to go by boat. The house was originally built in 1926. Our grandfather bought it from his uncle in the 1950s so it has been in the family for almost a 100 years now. Nowadays it is me, my brother and my uncle who own the property. The property itself is approx.. 5,000 m2, with a large garden and the lawn covers about 500 m2 where you can do all sorts of activities/sports. We also have our own fishing water property stretching from the island and half way to the opposite land side (so about 650 metres out in the water), so you can fish as much as you like. The island is very near the mainland (Hässelby Villastad), about 180 m water at the closest point where we keep our smaller boat by a marina (a few boats by the sea). By the Marina we have access to a free parking area for cars. The Main House/building The house is situated on the top/back of the property. After a small path hill of 50 m to get up on the beautiful lawn where it is possible to sunbathe, play out on the grass or just sitting in the shade of the trees. The site has got a lot of different places to sit out and enjoy the nature, all with the view over Lake Mälaren. There is a barbecue grill for outside dinners. The kitchen is fully equiped (fridge, freezer, oven, microwave oven, toaster). In the living room there is a cosy open fireplace … A WC and separate shower which is completely new (2018) with heated floor. No laundry possibility right now (but we consider buying a laundry machine soon). Two floors, upstairs a master bedroom and a separate bed outside in a small room outside the master bedroom. The Guest House A small house (about 25 m2) on the side of the site, closer to the water. It has got a masterbed for two persons and an outside porch with a sea view. This house has got no tap and no toilet. The Sauna house by the lake Also a small house (about 25 m2) with sleeping possibilities (a bunk bed – with two beds), a small shower & a sink (with water from Lake Mälaren) and the sauna itself with a firewood heater with a nice view from the sauna over the Lake Mälaren.
