Our hotel is located in the center of Groningen. This is perfect for a day in Groningen when you go shopping, having drinks or eating out in our beautiful Groningen. We also have one of the most beautiful roof terraces in Groningen with a cozy bar where you can imagine yourself on a tropical island and where you can enjoy a delicious cocktail or other tasty drink! The space Hotel The Happy Traveler has 50 rooms in 10 different room types, from family room to studio with balcony, we have a suitable room for everyone. All our rooms are equipped with modern amenities such as a smart tv for your own streaming services, Nespresso machine, kettle, safe, iron and much more. Our team is happy to welcome you! Guest access Thank you for your interest in our hotel! We would love to welcome you personally to hand over the keys and show you around our hotel. Check-in is daily between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Would you like to check in outside these times? No problem, we have key safes for which we will give you a code so that you can check in at any time. Other things to note We would like to welcome you to our beautiful hotel but we would like to emphasize that our location is in the center of a student city and we are surrounded by many bars and restaurants. This can bring a lot of atmosphere and fun but it can also cause some noise. We don’t have much influence on the sounds of the city so if you are really looking for a guaranteed quiet place to sleep it is better to look for a more rural located hotel to avoid disappointment.
