Description
Alice is a lovely, separate three bedroomed cottage, in a small hamlet in the tranquil Brittany countryside, with a private secluded garden and log fire (meuble de tourisme 3 star). Alice is one of three charming traditional stone-built cottages here at Bot Coet Cottages, set on 2.5 acres of land. Enjoy the shared heated pool, landscaped gardens, games room and boule court. Just 5 mins from medieval Guemene, with shops, bars and restaurants, and the lovely South Brittany coast an easy day trip. The space Alice has a fabulous beamed living/dining room, with a large feature fireplace and log burner. With a TV and DVD player, plus a selection of DVD's, games, puzzles and numerous books, there’s plenty to help you relax. The charming country-style kitchen is well equipped with all you will need for your holiday. Upstairs there are three pretty bedrooms - two doubles, and a room with bunk beds, with traditional beams and feature natural stone walls. Also upstairs is the family bathroom with bath (plus shower attachment) and toilet. The patio doors lead onto the large terrace and secluded private garden with lawn. A charcoal barbeque is supplied along with outside table and chairs to enjoy alfresco meals and generally relaxing. There is also seating to the front of Alice to make the most of the last rays of sun before it dips over the trees. All bed linen and towels (not pool/beach towels) are included in the price, as is all fuel and power, including logs for the cosy log fire. Wifi is available in the cottage. Cots and high chairs are available on request. Guest access Although there are beautiful walks and bike rides from the door, a car is essential as we are in a lovely rural setting. Other things to note Please note the pool is open April to September (weather permitting) and heated from May onwards usually (weather dependent)
