We welcome you to a clean & cozy home in a convenient central location to all areas of Charleston. Plus the Park Circle neighborhood is awesome. This is a small 1940 original home with all the quirks to go with it. Enjoy the front porch or back deck for fresh air. Some of the windows are old. Some of the hard wood floors are quirky, you may even feel a slight slant to your room. Sometimes a harmless lizard or tree frog will sneak in the back door. BATHROOM- ONE SMALL bathroom with no vanity space, so not the best option for a large group of gals or guys planning on hitting the town. Each bedroom IS outfitted with a seating area/mirror to get your beauty on. TV- the house has BASIC cable, that means an antenna, basic channels only. Smart TV so you can login to your own apps for streaming. There is no stereo system but a record player. Yes, a record player that plays vinyl albums. Listen to some oldies but goodies. Let us know if you have any requests. KITCHEN- No dishwasher, no ice maker. Gas oven/stove top. YARD- The yard is NOT completely fenced in. FOR THOSE IN THE BACK not listening, this is an OLDER home that has not been updated. If you want swank updates, stick to a hotel or keep browsing. Think Blue from the movie Old School. Other things to note MORE REAL TALK- Bexley Street is a mix of old and new homes (mostly new) and apartment buildings with an eclectic mix of young and old neighbors. Blue is also located directly next to an apartment building but this in no way impacts your stay with noise or foot traffic. If you are looking for luxury- look towards Mt. Pleasant or downtown Airbnb options or just get a hotel. We are not the "champagne" of Airbnb, more like Miller Highlife, the "champagne of beers". And if you've made it this far, we are even happy to leave a few cold ones in the frig for you.
