Only 11km from the historic walled town of Lucca lies our spacious home with spectacular views over the Tuscan hills. Ideal for cyclists and walkers, guests can also easily explore Pisa, Viareggio/the Ligurian coast, Florence & Sienna. Our local village, Ponte a Moriano, only 4km away, provides great eateries including one of the best gelaterias in the area as well as a weekly market. This is a great home away from home for relaxing whilst discovering the delights that Tuscany has to offer. The space The house comprises of 3 light and airy double bedrooms, (one en-suite), a further bathroom and a separate W.C. As we are located on the brow of a hill we are lucky enough to catch a cooling breeze from the valley below, and in addition each bedroom has its own ceiling fan for those hot summer nights. During the winter months the house is centrally heated, and also boasts two wood fireplaces in the living room and kitchen for added cosiness. As well as the pool area and little terrace outside the kitchen (ideal for that morning espresso), there is also a generous veranda with a large table, sofa and barbeque, perfect for al fresco dining. The garden is completely enclosed and guests have exclusive use. In addition if your party is more than 6 we have a studio flat with shower room and kitchenette that sleeps 2. Guest access Il Villino is part of a bigger property which is a working vineyard and produces its own olive oil. However the house is completely separate with its own parking and exclusive use of the pool so you can rest assured of absolute privacy and tranquility during your stay.There is very limited public transport in our area so we recommend you have a car. Other things to note Please note in the main house next door, we have two dogs. They have no access to the guest house or garden at all so there is no need to be concerned if you happen to see them.
