Chitkul the last inhabited village of India lies at a height of 3450 meters, located at a distance of 28 km from Sangla. With the misty weather, very less population, a valley full of flowers and fog all over the year, Chitkul is a beautiful escape for a traveler soul like you. And situated in these misty mountains is this splendid Homestay called ‘Abode the clouds’. The rustic architecture of the homestay enchants you with its simplicity, offering you a much needed solitude. The space The Homestay is one of the very few Homestays in Chitkul that has still maintained its old world charm with wooden architecture and beautiful balconies with a view. With only seven guest rooms, Abode the clouds is small and personal—run by innkeepers who really make it feel like home. Out of 7 rooms, three are standard size rooms, one with attached washroom and others without washroom. The other beautiful part of the home is rooftop room with a glass window. It would be log-built, rustic as befits its surroundings, yet supremely comfortable. The Homestay is anchored in the local community introducing you to the culture of the region. Outside the Homestay, is there beautiful garden with flowers, local plants and a lot of fog, rejuvenating your soul with freshness.
