The Coach House @ Byre House

The old coach house is a cosy traditional cottage with modern features. The detached house has king and double size beds, two optional single day beds are available upon request with an extra charge. There is a central bathroom. Has a large open kitchen and dining room, with a spacious living room, a wood burner for cosy nights. Set In a private courtyard behind electric gates, parking is in front of the house. It is in a quiet village but close to Bristol and Bath and surrounding villages The space The house is a strictly Non smoking house, although an ash tray is provided on the outside table. We do provide a few complementary breakfast essentials in our welcome hamper to start you off, there is also toiletries available in the bathroom. There is a smart TV to enjoy your favourite programmes, sat in front of the log burner for cosy nights with your favourite tipple. We also have baby gates, baby bath, highchair and travel cot with bedding, if you need them for our younger guests, please just let us know. We do have stables in the courtyard with two horses ( Max and Jack ) which go in and out daily to their field, but please go and say hello to them when they are in their stables. Guests can bring there well behaved dogs ( maximum of 2) for £10 per night per dog. We request that no dogs go upstairs, we do put up a baby gate to prevent them running up and jumping on to the beds, please bring along your own throws to cover the sofa, if they do get up on them, as they are fabric, and also their beds, we do supply metal bowls, dog toy, and a dog towels, we have great walks just outside the gates for them. We like to keep the house nice for our non doggy guests as well. Any special requests that guests want bought in for surprises, we can arrange this which holds an extra cost. We do have lots of great pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops all close by. We have The Kendleshire golf club behind, which is walking distance from the house, which has great food, or just a coffee, they do hold lots of events, weddings etc, so its great for accommodation near by. There is great dog walks surrounding the house and nearby. We are in a small rural hamlet called HENFIELD, where you can access most commuting routes very quickly so great for Bristol and Bath city’s and motorways links are all close. Bristol and Bath science park is 5 mins away, which hold regular events on the lawns, during the summer months, or you may have work commitments there. We have had numerous wedding weekends here, as being very spacious, so great for getting ready for the big day. Guest access On arrival please look out for the house name BYRE HOUSE, as the coach house is set within the court yard behind the grey electric gates, the postcode will bring you to several properties, so just look out for the gates and house name, the gates will be open ready for your arrival, when we know your ETA. Please drive down the drive and park up in front of the house. The host will then meet you there just to check you in. Other things to note The property is completely deep cleaned after each visit. Fire blankets and a fire extinguisher and first aid box is all under the kitchen sink cupboard. Although the property is a non smoking house, you can smoke outside where an ashtray is provided on the outside table and chairs and then before you leave please put all ash etc in to the black refuge bin in the yard.
