Quandamooka Beach House

Quandamooka Beach House is a very nicely presented Queenslander style home at the beach. In a great handy location to the Bulwer beach With 2 bedrooms upstairs, kitchen and bathroom, large dining area, extra sitting room with tv, downstairs room is a granny flat area with a queen bed and a set of single bunks. Plenty of room for the family. Great sized deck with some water views, bbq, and large grassed yard We do require a refundable damage bond of $1500.00 made to agent prior to arrival. The space Linen hire is NOT included, if guests wish to hire sheets, towels, pillowcases and have made beds up prior to arrival, there is an additional fee of $50.00 per person not included in the nightly rates or clean fee. Contact host prior to arrival to arrange linen. Tenants are required to provide their own toiletries. Soap, washing powder and additional toilet rolls beyond the initial supply of one per toilet are not supplied with the property. BRINGING A 4WD: As Moreton Island is a sand Island (3rd largest in the world) the only vehicles that operate on the Island are 4WD. Providing your vehicle is a 4WD, you can drive it on the island as all the tracks on the island are built for 4WD vehicles only. It is not recommended to bring an All-Wheel Drive vehicle across as they are too low for adequate ground clearance of the tracks. The MiCat vehicle and passenger Ferry from Howard Smith Drive, Lytton at the Port of Brisbane to the Tangalooma Wrecks is the only vehicle Ferry operating between Brisbane and Tangalooma, therefore early bookings are essential. WE DO RECOMMEND WHEN BOOKING ACCOMMODATION, YOU ALSO BOOK YOUR FERRY AT THE SAME TIME, OTHERWISE YOU MAY MISS OUT ON A FERRY SPOT OR GET A VERY EARLY LATE TIME OF ARRIVAL WHICH MAY BE AN INCONVENIENCE FOR YOU. POWER: We do wish to advise the property you have booked is totally reliant on sunshine for power. Therefore, guests cannot use in the property, hair dryers, hair straighteners, use appliances such as washing machines at night or plug into the house any personal car fridges. There are no microwaves or toasters in most of the properties as they cannot hold the power required to use these appliances. If the weather does not supply full sunshine for the duration of your stay, we may need to run the backup generator to top up the power. DAMAGES: If any damages occur during your stay, we will process any damage or loss claims from the $1500.00 bond payment. CANCELLATIONS: If you are unable to travel to or from Moreton Island because Barge, Ferry or Launch services are cancelled due to severe weather no refund will be given. Please make your own inquiries regarding insurance to cover this eventuality. We will be in touch one week prior to your arrival date with check in details and directions.
