Gorgeous house with private natural pool & garden

Great village location and spacious, quality home with breathtaking views. Good restoration work and thoughtful interior design have created a very comfortable home. There is WiFi internet. Available from July 2024 with private gardens and a natural eco pool. The space Layout Ground floor Living room; Kitchen/dining room; Bathroom (bathtub with shower); Bedroom 1: double bed (bed size: 1.35 x 1.90 meters); The front door opens to a small porch. First floor Bedroom 2: double bed (bed size 1.60 x 1.90 meters) with access to a small private terrace; Bedroom 3: single beds (bed size 0.90 x 1.90 meters) with balcony; Bathroom (bathtub without shower); 2nd large terrace; Indoor patio. ------ Notes -It is not possible to park next to the house (it is a street without cars), but there is usually parking space in the nearby plaza. -The living room is partially heated with the iron stove, so for the colder months, it is necessary to buy firewood (it can be requested in advance at an additional cost). -The bathroom on the first floor has only a bathtub (bathrooms, no showers). The bathroom on the ground floor does have a shower. -Hot water is stored in a large tank. Please note that when the house is at maximum occupancy (e.g. 5 or 6 people), hot water may occasionally be limited if several bathrooms are used simultaneously, in which case allowing time between bathrooms or showers solves this. Guest access The gardens and natural pool (locally called an alberca) are for your private use. They are located directly next to the house, in a separated, gated plot of land just across a path, about 10 metres away. Just outside the house, there is also a covered terrace and a small garden area. This area, next to the kitchen, is practical for outdoor meals. Our swimming pool offers a truly unique and wonderful natural experience. As an eco-natural pool, it is designed to provide a refreshing and serene environment that harmonizes with nature. Unlike traditional pools, our eco pool is free from chemicals. Instead, it uses natural filtration systems, including plants, to clean and clear water. This natural approach means that the walls and floor of the pool may have a biofilm—a thin layer of algae and beneficial microorganisms. This biofilm is a sign of a healthy, balanced ecosystem within the pool. Swimming in our eco-natural pool is a refreshing and invigorating experience. The water feels soft and gentle on your skin, and there’s no need to worry about harsh chemicals. It's perfect for unwinding, floating, and enjoying the tranquillity of nature. We believe this natural swimming experience is both beautiful and beneficial, offering a peaceful retreat. Enchanting Gardens and Natural PoolThe gated gardens are directly opposite the house, just a stone's throw away. This serene space is perfect for relaxing, practising yoga, sunbathing, reading, and swimming in the naturally filtered pool—it is completely chemical-free. While the garden features comfortable furniture, the terrace outside the kitchen is ideal for outdoor meals. On clear days, it boasts stunning views of the mountains, the sea, and even Morocco. Entering the garden feels like stepping into the "Garden of Eden," with abundant fruit trees and bushes. In August, enjoy fresh apples, figs, blackberries, and plums. At the heart of the garden is a graceful fig tree, a cherished lawn, and the natural pool surrounded by cleansing plants. The natural pool has a single depth of about 1.5 meters, making it perfect for unwinding and cooling off. Please note it's not suitable for diving or jumping—it's designed for relaxation. Charming and Thoughtful Home: Our home is a lovingly maintained, rustic retreat filled with charm. Upon entering through the large oak door, you'll be greeted by a spacious living room with high ceilings, a cosy wood-burning stove, and a large, comfortable sofa for six. Big wooden shuttered windows offer fabulous valley views. With its scenic views, the country-style kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for family meals around the friendly kitchen table. Alternatively, enjoy breakfast and dinner on the covered terrace with breathtaking vistas. Comfortable Bedrooms with Stunning Views: The downstairs features a quaint double bedroom with a small, hobbit-like window and a charming bathroom with pretty stonework. Natural light fills every corner upstairs, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Both bedrooms offer superb views and built-in wooden wardrobes. The larger bedroom opens onto two terraces—one for daytime views and one for romantic stargazing. The twin-bedded room has French windows that showcase the stunning Alpujarran scenery. An interior patio upstairs provides a private nook for reading or meditating. Family Considerations: While our cottage is well-equipped for comfort and convenience, families with small children should be vigilant due to the varying levels and high walls. The property is best suited for those who appreciate its simple beauty and tranquillity. It's not ideal for older children and teenagers seeking boisterous activities in the pool. When to Visit: Every season in the high Alpujarras has its unique charm. The gardens are at their best from May to October, and at 1,300 meters, you’ll enjoy milder temperatures than in the lower regions. The pool is most comfortable from late May to late September. Enjoy vivid autumn colours, clear winter skies with views of Morocco, spring wildflowers and almond blossoms, and the undeniable allure of summer.
