The space Casa del Capo 2 is a property situated 2.5 kilometers outside the city center of Sorrento, in a residential area known as 'Capo di Sorrento'. Capo di Sorrento is the promontory that marks the western end of the Bay of Sorrento, characterized by a charming landscape and olive tree groves leading down to the sea. The property is a beautiful villa surrounded by a large garden with a swimming pool, offering stunning views of the Gulf of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius. The villa's owners provide guests with two independent, recently renovated houses, each accommodating up to four people: 'Casa del Capo' and 'Casa del Capo 2'. This listing features the smaller unit, Casa del Capo. Casa del Capo is ideal for a couple and for a couple with child. The unit is too small to accommodate four adults. In the garden, there is a pergola equipped with a dining table, a small kitchen, a barbecue, and a pizza oven. The use of the pergola must be coordinated with the landlady. The owners have two medium-sized dogs. They are very friendly and well-mannered. The swimming pool is open from May 01 until September 30th, and in October according to weather. There is no lifeguard at the swimming pool. Children (minors) must be supervised at all times when near the swimming pool or in the shared garden. The use of the swimming pool between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM must be agreed upon with the landlord. Casa del Capo 2 is an independent apartment located in the main body of the villa. Guests can enjoy the enchanting view both from inside and outside the house. The house features a double bedroom with a relaxation area, a living room with a dining area and a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a private terrace furnished with outdoor furniture. The double bed, as well as the sofa bed, are handmade by local artisans using hypoallergenic materials. The sofa bed, which is quite comfortable, is designed for frequent use. The bedroom includes armchairs and table and chairs for four people. The two bathrooms, completely renovated, have showers. The terrace, equipped with outdoor furniture, can be used for meals. The swimming pool is available from May 1st to October 20th, 2024. Guest access Guests can access the garden and swimming pool shared with the other guests of the villa. The swimming pool is equipped with beach chairs and sun beds. A typical pergola, made using local chestnut wood and hand decorated tiles, is situated in the garden and it is equipped with kitchen, BBQ and Pizza oven. The pergola is available to guests on request. The small laundry room with the washing machine is situated in the garden, next to the main house. Other things to note In Sorrento, the Town Hall (Municipality of Sorrento) applies a tourist tax, "Imposta di Soggiorno", on travelers visiting the town (non-residents staying overnight). The tax is applied to people aged 18 years and older. The tax amounts to €4.00 per day of stay in Sorrento. The tax is applied for a maximum of 7 days. The amount of the tourist tax is not included in the rental price. The tax should be paid through Airbnb, as requested by the portal itself. As the tax is not applied to minors (under 18 years of age), we need to know if there is anyone in your party who will be under 18 years of age at the time of the stay. Thank you. HOUSE RULES Welcome to Casa del Capo Dear guests, the rules to be observed in our house are not only those sanctioned by law, but more simply are dictated by common sense and mutual respect. Therefore, please take some time to read the following rules: - Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. -The spaces in front of your home are for your exclusive use, all other spaces are common and therefore shared with any other guests and family members. Therefore, please respect the normal rules of order and coexistence and avoid noise and the use of equipment that causes disturbance to other people. Total silence must be observed between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and between 11:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. -The use of the outdoor kitchen spaces is allowed but not the use of the kitchen and barbecue (on request). - Electricity consumption is included in the price, but the use of air conditioning and lights without criteria will result in an additional payment. - Children must be supervised and accompanied by an adult, especially in the garden and pool. -The pool is available to guests from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Use of the pool between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. must be agreed with the owner. - No unregistered persons, therefore strangers, are allowed on the property, unless we specifically approve it. - Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms. - Please do not leave items unattended inside the room. We are not responsible for any theft of objects or personal belongings. - Please pay special attention that, when using the pool, objects that could damage the pool cleaning equipment do not fall and remain on the bottom. - Please do not use white bath towels in the pool; if you want, we can provide you with colored towels for €5.00 that you can also take with you to the sea and return at the end of your stay. -Upon request, a linen change or additional cleaning can be carried out (€80.00). -The garden will remain lit until 12:30 a.m., after which it will only be lit on the main avenue.
