Bear Creek Cabin near Clemson, Brevard, Cashiers

You will fall in love with this hidden gem on 7 private acres nestled in the Jocassee Gorges, the only true Rain Forest east of the Rockies- adjoining 50,000 acres of DNR Wildlife management area. Excellent Mountain get-away for those seeking a relaxing peaceful setting. Wildlife galore (black bear, dear, turkey), hiking, kayaking, Foothills Trail, Palmetto Trail, Sassafras Mountain, Victoria Valley Vineyards, waterfalls, and more! Trout fishing is perfect on the Little Estatooe too! The space This is a second home for us and we try to keep it stocked with essentials for ourselves and our guests. We live on a small farm in Pickens County near by and we try to keep you stocked with spices, oils, etc. that are nice to have when grocery stores are not as close by. However, Holly Springs Grocery/Gas Station is just down the mountain. Feel free to use what you need. We also have tons of dvds, books, a few toys for kids, and a first aid kit for your use. Please Note: We do have starlink internet running about 20mps, its good enough to stream and most guests can do wifi calling on their cellphones, but it is a bit spotty. Our cabin is literally in the middle of the wilderness and there is no actual cell phone reception. We do have a house phone on site for emergencies or if you need to make contact with us or other guests. Guest access You will have full access to the 7 acres of our property and the 50,000 acres of DNR Wildlife management area and trails. Some hills are a little steep when walking up so please use caution. Also, we recommend carrying bear spray, compass, and being prepared as much as possible. It is very easy to get turned around.
