The space Our Off-grid Cabin in the Woods has been reconstructed to its former state with a modern meets rustic flavour and is located 1/2 a kilometre from the Main Residence ensuring complete privacy. Included in your stay; - 100% Solar Powered Off-grid seclusion and privacy on 125 acres within Bunyip State Park - Deep soaking bathtub with bifold windows offering forest views - Exclusive access to kilometers of Private walking trails across the estate - On‑site tennis court & basketball ring - Tennis pavilion with pool table, table tennis & darts - Spring fed swimming hole, floating tubes & row boat The comfy queen size bed in the open plan living space has crisp white linen, electric blanket & views of the surrounding forest. Our deep soaking tub in the bathroom will be a highlight of your stay. Open the bifold windows & let in the sights & sounds of nature. Bathing in the outdoors without having to go outside! Plush bathrobes and complimentary slippers provided. The industrial style Kitchen has a large gas oven and 5 burner cook top, full size fridge/freezer, microwave, pots/pans and utensils to cook up a storm, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The generous size lounge offers a wood heater with fully stocked wood box, ceiling fans, TV, DVD player with a good selection of movies, stereo, games & books. Outside on the deck is a gas barbecue and outdoor lounge chairs. On the grass area, a fire pit offering the perfect location for stargazing. The tennis court and tennis pavilion are free to enjoy during your stay. Inside the pavilion you will find a pool table, table tennis and darts. All equipment provided. There are kilometres of private walking trails on the property to explore. We provide a trail map to help you do so. There is no mobile service on the property which is ideal for those looking for an uninterrupted getaway. Guest Wifi is available. The Bunyip State Park has much to offer, being right outside the front gate, you can go exploring by foot, mountain bike, 4wheel driving or by trail bike (seasonal closures apply). Anderson's Eco Retreat is a 100% Off Grid Solar Powered facility. All of our electrical appliances have been carefully selected to use minimal power and promote sustainability. Electrical appliances other than the ones provided are strictly prohibited. Please do not bring slow cookers, sound systems, heaters etc. Strictly no charging of electric vehicles. NOTE: All Bedding, linen & towels provided NO PETS ALLOWED. NO PARTIES OF ANY KIND. NO CAMPING NO EV CHARGING Things to see and do include; Kurth Kiln National Park, Puffing Billy, Ship Rock Falls, Emerald lake, Gumbuya World, the 'Independent' Argentinian restaurant, Local markets, and much more. Guest access Guests are able to use the marked walking trails on the property. Tennis court with basketball ring available for guest use. Racquets & balls provided. Please bring light coloured or non marking sole runners for the court. It is an Acrylic Hard Court. Black sole runners can mark & damage the surface. Strictly no access to machinery sheds and parts of the property displaying no entry signs. Spring fed swimming hole is available for guests to use. Other things to note Due to the sensitive nature of the local wildlife, being nestled in the State Park, pets are not allowed.
