Come and experience "The Good Life"
Come and experience "The Good Life"
Description
Situated in a self-contained wing of the farmhouse, there is a large double bedroom (with kingsize and single beds), private bathroom and lounge/breakfast room. There's a large TV with Freeview, a selection of games and puzzles, a library of books and you’re welcome to explore and relax in the gardens/grounds. And WiFi is available if you want to remain connected to the real world! Continental breakfast is provided along with a kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave. There is no kitchen. The space If you want to get away from it all and get back to nature, then come and visit. You have your own space to eat, relax and sleep. You are welcome to explore the farm and there is a public footpath that leads directly into a local forestry commission area. We offer cooked breakfast options at additional cost from our Rhydgaled free range eggs and bacon/sausage from our free-range, outdoor-reared Saddleback pigs. Breakfast can be ordered by 10pm the night before required and payment by cash or card. We also welcome you with some home-made shortbread. If you'd like to order one of our farmhouse cakes as an alternative - perhaps for a family get together or just a weekend treat - then these can be made to order if requested in advance. Options include a traditional Victoria Sponge, Coffee & Walnut, Gin & Tonic cake, Lime & Blueberry Drizzle, Traditional Farmhouse Fruit Cake, scones etc. Order prior to arrival. We can cater for gluten/dairy free, vegetarian/vegan diets upon request. Guest access You will have your own access to the single story wing of our farmhouse and are welcome to explore the farm. Other things to note If you have wellies - we suggest you bring them if you want to explore the farm - even if it hasn't rained, the grass can be wet from the morning dew. And we do sometimes get a little bit muddy in the fields. As a working smallholding, there are a few things to be aware of - electric fencing in places, ponds and lakes - and of course our livestock. We welcome well-behaved dogs by arrangement & agreement. We have our own, very friendly dog as well as house-cats and so any visiting canines must be respectful of our own pets - as well as the farm livestock. Dogs are not allowed in the bedroom but have plenty of space to stay in adjoining the living/breakfast room which is only separated by a door - and a stairgate can be provided if your dog would be worried by a closed door.
