Description
We updated Grandma & Grandpas house. Enjoy peaceful farm life, in this quaint and quiet 2 BR / 1 Bath home. 2 queen beds + pull-out couch and an amazing front porch. Conveniently located near the Ohio Turnpike and miles away from the Toledo Airport. Perfect for couples, young families and singles wanting to fall asleep with fresh air and peaceful sounds. The space Use of the entire 2BR home, including backyard, covered front porch and on a case by case basis, the basement for laundry. We do have well water, but have invested in a robust filtration system in the basement requiring filters, salt and peroxide to clean and treat the water. We offer reverse osmosis filtered water in the kitchen via a separate faucet. Stainless steel appliances are less than 5 years old. Faux butcher block laminate countertops and cabinets are older than me, and clean. We gut-rehabbed the bathroom and put in all new flooring. The rest is just paint and love. We hope you enjoy this little spot of simple peacefulness. Apologies that we have no internet. We are on an overlooked pocket of the state that severely limit our options and we’ve found that it’s just not worth it. Instead, use your cellular LTE with ease as we do, a hotspot, the DVD player, or local stations. The garage on property is used as a workshop but we typically access from the east side door, so guests are welcome to utilize the driveway and turnaround. The garage has a motion activated light. Guest access Full use of entire 2BR home including dining area, backyard, covered porch and private back patio with grill (propane provided). Basement laundry with permission. Other things to note The keys unlock the back doors. The dogs are ours (Jack, Great Pyrenees golden doodle and Rosie, standard poodle). While they are so so eager to meet you, they have invisible fence collars and cannot reach your immediate front or backyard. They may sit and bark at you, trying to persuade you to come pet them. You are free to do so, but please be aware that both are still young and may jump or lick your face off.
