Weekend Special at Tarzan’s Lair! Unique, fun home

Bring your lovers, family, friends, pets and toys to experience all the Peninsula has to offer while staying in our architecturally designed Eco Retreat. Our huge outdoor entertaining area/kitchen has a long table for leisurely lunches, bbq, fire pit and hammock hangs. The house is open and bright, with plenty of couches and beds, a pool table, dress up box, disco ball, eclectic art, books, games, herb garden, hot outdoor shower and a composting toilet! Come and play.... The space We are on an acre at the bottom of a court which makes this a very private and peaceful place and if you have kids it's the perfect spot for them to enjoy nature, play chasey, make cubbies and kick a footy or play cricket on the property but also be able to ride their bikes safely on the road away from traffic in our little court... Tarzan's Lair is proving to be very popular with large groups whether it be groups of friends or families.... please note it’s a cosy set up! Guest access Guests can access the whole house and garden but the shed is out of bounds. Other things to note We want you to have the best possible time while staying at Tarzan's Lair.... You may have your own agenda but we can also provide some interesting experiences for you that will make your stay really special and fun!! Depending on what you are into we will happily cater to your needs. If you trust us we can also surprise you with something wonderful, especially if you like adventures, good food and something a little bit different to the normal touristy stuff, as we have our own special local knowledge of the area and know what is possible considering tides, winds and we know of many amazing 'secret spots'!! We can provide food hampers, platters and picnic baskets to have at the house or to take out and about. ( priced accordingly ) Some of our furniture is different to what is shown in the photographs. We collect most of our bits and pieces from op shops and are often changing the house around always trying to improve it. Although some of our furniture is old, it's all clean! Our vegetable garden is currently waiting to be replanted but there are a few herbs growing that you are welcome to help yourself to. LINEN IS NOT PROVIDED! We require our guests to bring their own linen and towels. If you would like to hire these it is $40 per person. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS we have 9 beds The dorm style room has six single beds , 4 of these can be pushed together to make two kings or a massive bed!!! The smaller room upstairs has a queen and a single. The red room / DV Den has a couch that turns into a bed. We can also provide mattresses, one double and 3 singles. So if you are all happy to bunk in together we can cater for up to 16 people. If travelling from afar without access to linen we can make up the beds for you and provide towels for a fee of $40 per person. WE DON’T HAVE AIR CONDITIONING! We look forward to ideally meeting you on arrival and having you stay!! If you have a wedding or special event one of our cohosts is a hair and makeup artist who is happy to come to the house.
