Maison du Jardin forms part of Maison Ruisseau, "a real get away from it all location" set in the heart of the Charente. Originally a farmhouse built in 1838, it has been tastefully and lovingly restored maintaining many of the character features of the region. Not far from the airport of Bordeaux, close to Cognac, and ideal for couples wanting to relax, solo adventurers, families and business travellers set in a picturesque setting of vineyards and sunflowers. Also available for just 4 people The space Maison du Jardin is the largest of the three properties set in the front courtyard overlooking the orchard. It has its own private terrace nestled in the center of the gardens. There are three double bedrooms (or 2 D/bedroom and 1 twin.), two bathrooms and two separate w/c. The attractive coloured beams and open plan living area incorporates the sitting room, dining and kitchen area (34sq.m) with the staircase to the upstairs mezzanine twin bedroom. The gite has under-floor central heating throughout. Sky freeview & DVD. The kitchen is fully equipped to include electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine/tumble dryer. The main double bedroom (18sq.m) is decorated to ensure that comfort and style are priority, with a leather bed and drapes, plenty of storage to include walk-in wardrobe and large en-suite facilities. The second double bedroom (12sq.m) comprises twin beds (which can be converted to a double), light oak furniture with a large built in wardrobe. The gites have their own parking area. Our gite is family friendly where you can be sure of first class hospitality and a warm welcome from the owners who strive to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. A welcome pack is included on arrival for 7 day bookings to include basic produce for your first night and breakfast the following morning.. All towels, bedlinen and pool towels are provided. The property is provided with patio tables and chairs for all the gites; they are located on the terrace pool area and in the garden to ensure sun all day and early evening, it's ideal for eating breakfast, lunch and dinner outside. Sun loungers and umbrellas are also provided for the garden and the pool area. Each of the gites is equipped with a barbecue and tools for 'al fresco' dining.
