Description
Relax in this stylish and luxurious “Snug@Combe Hay”. A private annexe set within a beautiful period village house. Private entrance, off street parking & your own sunny garden. Enjoy bbq’s around the fire pit. A cosy log burner for those chilly nights, and all the comforts you’d expect for a wonderful stay. Award winning Wheatsheaf pub/restaurent is a stroll away, stunning walks, & good transport links to Bath City Centre, just 4 miles away The space The Annexe is a recently built contemporary addition to our Georgian Bath stone village home. It is completely self contained, with a private entrance accessed from the front drive. There is an electric car charging point on the front drive should you need it (an additional charge is made for this) Inside is a sitting room with two sofas, one of which is a double sofa bed. There is a very efficient Log burner, flat screen tv with sky/ cable channels. There is a small fold out dining table and chairs. Double doors lead you onto a south facing garden for your private use, with a backdrop of valley views in winter and stunning tree canopy in summer. There is a bbq and fire pit for your use in the garden together with dining table and chairs. The kitchenette has a fridge, hob and microwave , but does not have an oven. There are all the utensils you need to cater for your own meals, a nespresso coffee machine, and I provide tea, sugar fresh coffee, fresh milk in the fridge and my homemade flapjacks. The bedroom has a standard double bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and hanging space. The Egyptian Cotten bed linen is all from The White Company. There is a TV in the bedroom, and extra towels should you need them in the chest of drawers. There is a beautiful valley view from the bedroom window There is a desk in the inner hall and super fast internet access. There is room for muddy boots and coats in the hall. We have an abundance of wonderful walks from your front door and in addition to our womderful village pub/restaurent; The Wheatsheaf, there is The Packhorse in the neighbouring villages of Southstoke and Fox and Badger in Wellow. The park and ride into Bath is minutes away by car at Odd Down. Taxi’s and Ubers to and from Bath cost approximately £15 each way. There is a car parking space on the front drive, next to the Annexe, with electric charging point (at additional charge) From the sitting room, there are doors leading onto a south facing garden for your own private use for the duration of your stay Other things to note I'm looking forward to welcoming you.
