Granny-G Guest House Palawan

Our place is a vintage but well-maintained two-storey concrete/wood house owned by my late grandfather. His wife is now in Australia and her daughters now have families of their own. Since then, we decided to turn it into a guest house and offered to host it on AirBNB. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, relaxing, and cheap accommodation for tourists visiting Palawan for them to enjoy their stay and tours without hurting their budget in accommodation expenses. Guest access Our guests are only allowed to access the whole second floor of the house, as well as the dining area and balcony at the ground floor. Smoking is prohibited inside the rooms and a fine will be imposed to the guest upon violation of the policy. However, smoking is allowed in the ground floor and second floor balconies only. Bringing, selling, and use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited in the premises. Drinking alcohol in the premises is allowed, but violent/noisy misdemeanors brought about by over drinking is strictly prohibited. During your stay Although I am currently living within the same compound, I cannot promise that I can always be at the place to hang out with our guests as I usually have to do a lot of paper works in the evening even when I am at home, but whenever I am free or our guests have important concerns and/or questions for me during their stay, I will always be glad to visit the guest house. Other things to note Important things for our guests to take note in advance are the following: 1. We offer breakfast for our guests for a minimal additional fee; We have a simple Filipino breakfast menu you can choose from. Serving of breakfast will be made available from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM. 2. We can clean your room in the morning for free (Fix the bed linens, broom the floor, and clear the trash bin). Just inform the receptionist if you want to do so. 3. Backup power supply/Generator is not yet available as of this moment. In the events of a brownout, you may open the jalousie windows for added ventilation and we will provide a fan for each guest to use. Hopefully, in a few months we will already be able to have our own generator. 4. In the event of an electricity loss, water pressure in the second floor bathrooms may drop. Our receptionist may store water in pails inside the bathroom in the evening. Water pressure in the city proper is usually high during the evening and low in the morning up until noon time. There is also a water crisis in the city during summer. 5. We have a small parking space beside the building that our guests can use, however it can only fit motorcycles which our guests may rent from various vehicle rental services outside the airport.
