Description
Welcome to our cosy, self-contained basement flat in a charming Victorian terraced house that was built in 1890. Offering complete privacy and independence, it's like having your own miniature (yet spacious) home. Once a damp and lifeless space, it has been lovingly transformed into a warm retreat. Carefully upcycled furniture and thoughtfully repurposed items add character, while every detail has been considered to ensure that you have a safe, relaxed and comfortable stay. The space The 'quirky, cosy hideaway' was once a damp, gloomy and lifeless basement that was in need of a little (actually a lot) of tender love and care. After a months and months of hard work, I have transformed the basement in to a lovely self contained flat that has everything you need to ensure that you have a comfortable stay. We have a few other listing, all with reviews that should give you an insight in to what kind of people we are. My partner Stephen and I really do try our best to make sure that you are happy. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Thank you for reading and we look forward to hosting you. Guest access As a self-contained flat, guests have exclusive access to the entire space, including the bedroom, bathroom, utility/laundry room, and the combined living, dining, and kitchen area. The flat is fully private and entirely yours to enjoy throughout your stay. Guest are welcome to use the garden. Other things to note We provide fresh bedding and towels for your stay. A washing machine is availablefor you to launder them yourself during your stay. We leave two toilet rolls as a starter, but you'll need to provide any additional supplies. We kindly ask guests to recycle: Black Refuse Bins (collected weekly on Tuesday mornings): For general, non-recyclable waste such as food waste, non-recyclable plastics, polystyrene, and sanitary products. Green Refuse Bins (collected monthly): For recyclable waste, including clean paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, glass bottles, jars, cans, and tins. Please ensure lights and electrical equipment are turned off when not in use. Access Note The flat is accessed via two flights of steps.
