Other things to note Experiencing Camping Delle Rose also means experiencing the spirit of a place. In western Liguria, cyclical time is still evident, dictated by the rhythms of the seasons, by the succession of agricultural activities and, therefore, by the same festivals and celebrations. It's not monotony, but it's wanting to be identitarian. Doing what has always been done, since the dawn of time, using the natural elements. We are talking about festivals that recur in the Christian calendar but have many pre-Christian components. Camping delle Rose is open from April to the end of October. Maybe you won't be there for San Sebastiano, when a laurel tree full of colored hosts is carried in procession in this area. Or for Christmas, when a fire burns in the squares for days and nights. But if Easter falls in April, you could witness many special events, staged by lay confraternities, such as in Porto Maurizio di Imperia or Ceriana, above San Remo. Ancient songs, for example, are the protagonists here. Pentecost is the occasion of the unique festival of Baiardo "Ra Barca": a set of truths and legends for which a huge tree has been raised in the village square. An arboreal rite, as it exists only in southern Italy, in almost unknown places. The feast of St. John the Baptist, at the end of June, is a good opportunity to participate in festivals around the bonfires lit in various towns. July, then, should be experienced above all in Taggia, with the singular celebration for Santa Maria Maddalena, who is also the patron saint of Isolabona. Procession to an isolated sanctuary in the woods, vigils, Mass, lunch and return to the village of the confreres amidst crowds, lavender throwing and the concluding "Dance of Death". Do not be afraid: it is a rite of rebirth of Nature with respect to the threat of heat. August and the first half of September are the months of continuous celebrations, a succession of processions, dances, festivals and fireworks. Not bad for those who do it all year round. It's cyclical time. Registration Details IT008032B1MD862DNU
