Guests also have access to a small selection of optional experiences and extras, available exclusively during your stay. The space 🌿 The Experience Alongside your stay in our beautifully restored historic kiln in Dunkeld, guests may choose from a small collection of optional hosted experiences, available exclusively to those staying with us. These include: • Working Farm Tour – Meet the sheep in their paddocks and learn about life on a working farm, with the option to extend the experience with a relaxed hosted dinner featuring home-grown produce. • Grampians Picnic Experience – A thoughtfully prepared picnic with local fare and insider location suggestions for a scenic outing in the Grampians. • Stargazing Supper Basket – A cosy evening hamper including wine, simple supper fare and candles, perfect for enjoying the clear country night sky. • Chauffeured Dinner Transfer to the renowned Royal Mail Hotel — enjoy your evening without the need to drive. All experiences are optional and available on request, subject to availability. Guest access Guests have full private access to the self‑contained cottage, including the bedroom, bathroom, dining nook and outdoor seating area. The space is separate from the homestead, giving you privacy and a peaceful base during your stay. For safety and to protect the animals, the farm itself isn’t open for self‑guided exploring. Access to the property beyond the cottage area is only available through our optional hosted experiences, such as the morning farm tour or the evening homestead dinner. Parking is available on site, and I’m nearby if you need anything throughout your stay. Other things to note This is a working farm, and nature is very much part of the experience. Our three sheepdogs occasionally bark at night—they’re simply keeping foxes away from the lambs and warning off rabbits and possums in the moonlight. The two black‑and‑white dogs love a pat, but please ignore the black kelpie and avoid belly rubs; they’re working dogs, not pets. Our farmers start their day around 8am and do their best to keep noise low. As with any rural property, the odd bug may find its way inside despite our efforts to keep them outdoors. The farm runs entirely on rainwater. It’s suitable for drinking, and we also provide commercial water if you prefer. We kindly ask guests to use water thoughtfully—short showers, taps off while brushing teeth, and similar simple habits help us care for our environment. And finally, even Superhosts are human. If something is missing or you need anything at all, please let me know so I can make your stay as comfortable as possible. Karen & Steven
