Private cottage with woodland & distant beach views, set in the heart of Perranporths peaceful valley, a short, flat walk to the sandy beach, shops & restaurants. Bay tree has its very own tranquil spa gardens to enjoy with a 7 seater Hot tub, ice plunge bath, sun loungers, sauna bucket shower, outdoor hot rain shower, fire pit area, hammock and swing under the trees, yoga mats & spa robes provided. 2x king beds & 2x king sofa beds-very comfortable. The space PLEASE NOTE - the cottage has just been fully refurbished 2025 - new carpets, furniture, American fridge freezer etc and a new down stairs bathroom has been added. Super fast Fibre Broadband has now been installed great if needing to work whilst away. The cottage is located In the heart of Perranporth village valley, everything is close by within easy walking distance, a flat 5-10 min leisurely stroll along the coombe takes you to a vast array of shops, restaurants, cafes, the 3.5 mile white sandy beach, boating lake boats, mini golf, tennis courts, saints trail - for cycling / walks etc so super easy to leave your car on the drive and just wear your wet suit out the front door, grab your board cut through the village park (200 ft from the cottage) if heading for a dip - takes you an even shorter walk to the sea and surfers steps. Summer at Baytree is of course beautiful, being able to explore the gardens, catch some sun on a loungers, bbq and hit the beach but even during winter with the darker evenings - the hot tub is warm, there’s an out side hot shower, we have Netflix, bubbly, hot chocolate and marshmallows ready for check in, all beds have 16.5 tog winter duvets on, 60” tv and plenty of family games for cosy nights in, the fire pit can be used all year round don’t forget your bobble hat during the colder months. Alexa, music and books for you to relax and enjoy some quality r&r time with complete privacy. Baytree is a cozy traditional 1920s Cornish Cottage with plenty of fabulous costal walks in every direction from the cottage! Two public foot paths next to the cottage one to the left up the Combe and one directly opposite the house taking you up to Trevellas beach past the blue hills and beautiful tin mines. The cottage is completely private and you will not be disturbed, gardens and windows are not over looked so perfect to get away from it all and have some private time to yourselves. More for your info about where you will be staying- This listing is for the whole property, you have your own private drive (to park one large car, and plenty of on street FREE PARKING if bringing a few cars, quite, safe road all year) and of course the private gardens to yourselves. There are two gates for security at the front and complete tranquility, you are not over looked and the garden areas are secluded, peaceful, no noise from roads just the morning birds in the adjoining woodland to listen to. There are 2 toilets, 1 bath, 2 indoor showers, Washing machine and tumble dryer, washing line, airer, ironing board/ iron, hair dryer, coffee machine, HD smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, Alexa, games, yoga mats, kettle bells, beach mats, buckets spades etc, the booking includes all bedding, towels, welcome pack with milk, teas, coffee pods, marshmallows, hot choc, biscuits, wine, spices, oil, salt pepper etc ready for your arrival. The cottage sleeps a max of 8 guests - for any little ones we have a travel cot which fits in the back bed room nicely along with changing mat, high chair and a few wooden toys. Perranporth village has everything you need from ice cream to sup board hire, night life - pubs and beach bar live gigs, cafes/ shops as well as fab restaurants / fish and chips. Here’s a few foodie places myself and Connor recommend visiting during your stay :) @summerhouse_cornwall Summer House is a family owned restaurant located right on the sea front with panoramic views across Perran beach a great spot for a dinner to remember one eve. @no.4breakfastandbistro Excellent service, delicious food for all the family great spot for a proper cornish breakfast, lunches and dinners - located near the sea front opposite beach front car park. @wateringholecornwall Officially the UK's 'only bar on the beach', The Watering Hole is an iconic cornish bar, restaurant and not to mention the best sunset watching spot on the north coast - go to place for a Rattler sundowner in the summer months or a cozy hot chocolate after a blustery beach walk on colder days. Open all year round, head here for live music events on Fridays and Saturdays. @pavilioniceperranporth ‘s Perrans very own luxury ice cream parlour! Their Cornish clotted cream ice cream is a must try! (Lots of dairy free options available) @RootsCafe Perrans VEGAN go to open air brunch / lunch spot! Grab food to go, take to the beach or sit and enjoy a delicious coffee in right in the center of town. @pickwicksperranporth The locals takeaway spot for a locally caught peice of cornish fish and traditional chipy dinner, call up to pre order and pick up to enjoy back at the cottage or sit in their old school traditional family diner. Located St Pirans road main high street. @thebakingpost Pick up yummy morning baked goods fo the whole family (lots of vegan & gluten free options) down the far end of high street. @champansbutchers The best spot for a proper Cornish pasty! Selection of pasty flavours located in the center of town, fab deli counter to try out some local cheeses, Cornish Yarg is Connors fav -“delish heads up!” Most places allow doggies in town and there are plenty of other fab places to find a Cornish cream tea, live Cornish music / local bands, fresh sea food and many a pub with open fires and great Sunday roasts in town - The tops pubs are The seiners arms (sea front) The Tywarhayle Inn (center) and Alcatraz (bellow the summer house on beach). Perranporth links to all Bus devices (including st. Ives open top service) and taxis all available. Truro train station 6 miles away, Newquay train station 7 miles away, Newquay airport 10 miles away. Great location to bring you surfboards, bikes (we have a new camel bike trail along bolingey I would highly recommend trying out, bring kayak etc to and can be stored securely in garden when not on roof rack.
