Enjoy listening to the seagulls ocean waves sitting in the private porch entry area. The living room, kitchen and dining areas are all accented by raised ceilings with built in skylights. There are 2 full bathrooms , one with an enclosed shower and the other with bath and shower. Easily sleeps 6 people comfortably with 2 private independent bedrooms and a brand new double sized futon in the living room . The "master" bed room has a king sized bed and the other bedroom has 2 twin beds. There are new ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms. The backyard offers not only another area for you to relax, but a newly constructed outdoor shower. After surfing, building sand castles, or swimming , this is the perfect set up to wash off . We offer keyless entry and 1 designated parking spot right in front of the house. (other parking is available in neighborhood on the street) Our fully functional kitchen includes utensils, plates glasses cutting boards, pots, pans everything else you would need to cook a gourmet meal. There is a Keurig coffee maker a brand new assortment of coffee pods to chose from as you make your morning coffee in the morning . No worries if you forgot your body wash, shampoo and or conditioner because we have a 3 chamber soap and shower dispenser in each bathroom filled with these essentials. We attended to every detail of this renovation with the same standards of perfection that we ourselves expect when traveling and staying at air b and b's. This adorable place is tucked away on a quiet beach lane in the Pierpont Beach neighborhood which is walking distance to several restaurants, bars, a market & bakeries, the historic Ventura Pier, Marina beach Park, and the Ventura Fair Grounds. Close by you can also find Channel Island boat excursions, whale watching cruise , and kayak and boat rentals. In our house manual we list our "favorites" including restaurants, hiking and wineries to name a few. The beach is a mere 138 steps from the cottage. There is one set of stairs leading to the sand at the end of the street.Also walking distance are a grocery store, eateries , Marina beach and the Ventura Pier. Downtown Ventura is 2.5 miles away and delivers a festive atmosphere where you will find unique shopping and restaurants .
