Description
Built in 1880 Tower House is an imposing Victorian townhouse overlooking the River Dee in a quiet, private road, yet only a five minute walk to the centre of Chester and ten minutes to the railway station. It has ample parking and it is only a short stroll to the many shops, bars and restaurants with a large, new Waitrose just across the road. The luxury, spacious room and bathroom are finished to a very high standard. The space Tower House is situated in an ideal location, quiet, yet only a stone's throw away from the bustling city centre. This room has zip and link twin beds which can be put together to make a large king size bed. It is a very spacious, quiet room overlooking the leafy front of the house and has an en suite shower room. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room and breakfast can be had at Waitrose directly across the road or in any of the numerous cafes close by. Guest access Guests can access a grade 2 listed tower equipped with table and chairs with windows overlooking the river and the meadows. There is also a seating area right beside the river where you can watch the rowers and various activities on the river. This area is accessed by a long flight of steps. During your stay Guests will be greeted by us and we will be on hand during their stay to offer advice on activities and amenities in the area. There is lots of tourist information and a map in the room. Other things to note Guests are free to come and go as they please but as this is our home we ask them to respect our privacy and that of other guests. It is a large house with thick walls so noise is not normally an issue.
